Prayer Centre Church of God (PCCG) is a dynamic, Spirit-filled Christian ministry founded approximately 23 years ago by the General Overseer, Prophet Samson Oluwamodede. Headquartered in Akure, Nigeria, PCCG has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving global ministry with over 15,000 members worldwide.

The ministry has established a strong presence with 13 branches across Nigeria, one branch in the United Kingdom, and three branches in the United States, reflecting its mission to reach the nations with the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

PCCG is known for its unwavering commitment to prayer, deliverance, healing, and spiritual empowerment. As part of the wider Pentecostal and Charismatic movement, the church emphasizes the active presence of the Holy Spirit, the authority of the Word of God, and the importance of cultivating a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through its anointed services, prophetic declarations, and spiritual warfare, countless lives have been delivered from oppression and aligned with their divine purpose.

Indianapolis Branch
The Indianapolis branch of Prayer Centre Church of God was officially inaugurated on August 16, 2018, with Mr. Babajide Olaibi appointed as the Head, Evangelist, and Branch Coordinator.
This branch has become a beacon of hope and spiritual transformation in the city, offering regular worship services, intercessory prayer meetings, deliverance programs, and community outreach initiatives.

In recognition of its official standing, the Indianapolis branch was formally registered under Indiana law on June 17, 2019, affirming its commitment to both spiritual and legal integrity.

As part of the global PCCG family, the Indianapolis branch continues to uphold the church’s core mission: to equip believers for victorious Christian living, restore broken lives, and draw souls into the Kingdom of God through the power of prayer and the Word.

We are a church dedicated to walking with God.

We believe that what makes church special is not only the Sunday sermon, but also the spiritual connections we build with God and each other.
Our Mission
To bring total deliverance to people all over the world through the preaching of the Word, salvation, deliverance, and prophetic declarations.
Our Vision
A unique ministry where God is manifested powerfully, setting the captives free and restoring destiny.
We're the Prayer Centre Church of God.
Our Believe
In a world filled with bad news, we believe in the “good news of great joy for all people” (Luke 2:10). More than advice for good living, the Gospel is the amazing truth.

General Overseer
Prophet Samson

Prophet Samson Oluwamodede was born into a Muslim family by the name Ogunmodede in Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria. He had his primary education at Ilupeju Grammar School, Iwo. In his encounters with Christian gatherings, the clergy confessed that he hardly close his eyes whenever prayer was in-session just to be sure if the Pastor is doing anything besides praying. He finally gave his life to Christ in 1987 and was baptized that same year in Christ Apostolic Church (C.A.C) Oke-lgbala, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.

One day, Prophet Samson Oluwamodede had a divine encounter during a 3-day Marathon Fasting and Prayers in the Church. On that glorious day, he saw a vision, in his word, he said:

“I saw that the Church building roof disappeared and the sun was shining that very night again; later I saw a white man...the hand that I saw went straight into my mouth, and a voice followed it saying, what I gave to Peter and John is what I have given to you."

Immediately the vision disappeared, and suddenly he woke up. This spiritual experience gave the Prophet an inkling that God was up to something in his life.

Before his conversion from Islam to Christianity, Prophet/Evang. Samson Oluwamodede studied Quran for seven years at the Answarudeen Primary School and later became a butcher for another seven years, he also served as a newspaper vendor, then as a petrol attendant and Civil Servant respectively. Unlike his Muslim days which he had to go to Quranic school to understand what the religion is all about.
